Today everything is on Internet but some places being famous in India still live in ’90s. There is no more online option.
Gaya, A land of Salivation and Enlightenment. Gaya is famous for tourists and it is one of the International tourist places in Bihar. Being so famous, in 2016 there was no such option in Gaya where anyone can deliver any gift on the same day. And that disappointed me a lot. There was some local option but their products and service were poor. And if anyone living out of the city can get any contact to these local vendors.
“This incident led him to research on this and then he came to know that maximum part of Bihar has no such service”, Vimal Kashyap, Founder of Gift Ka Shop said.
Today, Gift Ka Shop is serving Cake and Gift services everywhere in Bihar on same-day delivery and also serving online gift services to pan India. It is still a start-up but here is its story so far.
It all started in 2016 when one foreign who came to visit Bodhgaya talked with Vimal in Train that she tried to order some gifts for her friend anniversary but didn’t find any services.
“I was brought up in Gaya, Bihar. To pursue further studies, I moved to New Delhi. Here I learned to design and develop websites. I also started working as a freelancer to create a website. This helped me a lot to start things about this incident that happened in the train,” Vimal said.

In 2016, Vimal started the online website with just 50 handpicked products from Sadar Bazar, New Delhi. In just 5 years, this website has more than 500 gifts and customized cake and bouquet services through WhatsApp orders too.
“I didn’t have enough funds to start this business but I had a firm belief in my vision. I discussed this idea with lots of my loved ones. With an amount of 6,500/- and my experience of designing websites helped me to start this venture,” Vimal said.
Sowing the seeds for Gift Ka Shop
The initial few months were challenging for Vimal to understand the market of Gift and what customers want and what should he buy in this limited amount to start. However, his knowledge of website designing and digital marketing helped him a lot.
Today, the Gift Ka Shop website is searchable across India, with the website pioneering the concept of delivering happiness. Gift Ka Shop was determined to provide the highest quality and best service and the widest variety of gifts, cake & flowers.

In 2016- The website started with 50 items
In 2017- Tied up with the best bakery for customized cake in Bihar
In 2018- More than 300 online items and Customised Cake and bouquet
In 2019- Started delivering gifts to multi-city and multi-state
In 2020- With more than 1000 items, started taking orders on Whatsapp with customers demanding items.
